Periodic Verifications

What documents are needed to have an aerial platform in order? After commissioning, aerial platforms and lifting equipment such as forklifts must undergo annual inspections and periodic checks to ensure their safety standards. D.L.gs. 81/08 outlines all the steps necessary to keep your lifting equipment in proper documented condition, including: crane trucks, forklift trucks, aerial platforms, truck-mounted cranes, and lifting equipment in general. Contact us to request specific information about your equipment and the relevant regulations in force. Leader will provide all the assistance you need to bring your aerial platforms into compliance by offering documentary advice, technical inspections and maintenance.

CE-marked aerial platforms

The documents required to submit the aerial platform for periodic inspection are:

  • Booklet of the periodic checks to which the aerial platform was subjected or the First Check Report.
  • EC Declaration of Conformity and Control Register filled out according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the machine.
  • Instruction manual for the lifting equipment

Other accessory documents may facilitate inspection by the inspection body such as:

  • Periodical verification reports following the first verification.
  • Scope indications
  • Planned work areas
  • Certification by the hirer of the state of preservation of the vehicle and the maintenance carried out.
  • Certification that at the time of transfer, hire or purchase the vehicle complied with all safety requirements.
